- Senior level association executive currently serving as Director, Member Engagement (Membership, Conferences & Communications) for BICSI, the worldwide preeminent source of information, education and knowledge assessment for the constantly evolving information transport systems industry.
I also served as Director of the Forum and Conference Services for the University of Oklahoma. I have 20 years of experience in planning and arranging conferences, meetings, exhibitions and events in the U.S, Canada and Europe. I am the former Director of Meetings for the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) in Fairfax, Virginia, and previously served as Senior Project Manager for the William H. Natcher Conference Center at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. I also served as the Director of Convention Services for the National Congress of American Indians in Washington, D.C. where I organized the historic meeting between President Bill Clinton and 545 Tribal Leaders at the White House.
I graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and attended the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, the School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University where I completed my Certification in Meeting Management. In December 2000 I was officially designated a Certified Meetings Manager (CMM)!
Many accomplishments but the one I am most proud of - in October 2004 I created the University of Oklahoma's first ever Meetings and Event Management Certificate program and served as a member of the OU faculty

Although, by profession, I work in Real Estate ... I have so enjoyed managing events... be it indoor church conferences, off-broadway Theatre Productions - and as recently as last weekend, I managed a 350-375pp outdoor fellowship event.
